How to conduct your studies 
You do your civil engineering studies basically at home, or at your work place when you are free from other work. Your academic activities begin when you first register as a student of the Faculty of Engineering, at the Open University (generally in March/April ).

You are given the package of study material at the enrollment and our Academically & Professionally qualified Civil Engineering Academic staff is available to assist you in all academic & practical matters.

Method of Evaluation for Courses
For each course that you select to study in a year, we shall continuously evaluate you through Assignments, Assessment Tests and in some instances, Reports of Design and Laboratory classes.

Based on the weighted mark you obtain for these exercises, you will be granted eligibility to sit for the Final Examination for that particular subject.

Through the Final Examination you can pass the subject and obtain a grade on the level of your performance. However, if you do not pass the Final Examination, you can sit for the same in the following year.
