Faculty offers certificate study programmes of one year duration in limited study areas.

Certificate programmes are conducted under Industrial Studies and are designed for those who are employed in the textile and other specific industries and those who wish to enter a particular industry.

Those who successfully complete certificate programme could enter the Diploma programme in the relevant stream. 

Currently the Faculty offers this programme in the following specializations:  

Animal Husbandry and Aquaculture 

(offered only at Puttlam centre)

Apparel Technology

Textile Technology
