Graduate Profile
Graduates of TESP are expected to have acquired specialist knowledge in their respective engineering specialization together with general intellectual and life skills that equip them for employment and citizenship and lay the foundation for a lifetime learning and personal development.

Technology (Engineering) is the main study programme offered by the Faculty for those who desire to become engineers.
The students have the option of leaving with the Diploma or continue to the B.Tech (Engineering) Degree. Students who exit with Diploma in Technology can re-join the Technology (Engineering) Programme to study for Degree after a few years.
Entry Requirement
The entry qualifications to the Technology (Engineering) Programme of Study will be 36 credits from the Foundation Programme of Study for Technology.
The students who possess 3 passes in mathematics stream in GCE (A/L) examination will be directly registered for the Technology (Engineering) Programme.
Credit requirements for B.Tech (Eng.) Degree
Total credit requirement for the award of Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) degree is 205. In addition, the students need to satisfy the compulsory list of courses relevant to the the specialization, and credit requirements in different course categories as given in Table 1.

Credit requirements for the Diploma in Technology
Total credit requirement for the award of Diploma in Technology is 115. In addition, the students need to satisfy the compulsory list of courses relevant to the the specialization, and credit requirements in different course categories as given in Table 2.
English Language Requirement
In order to register for courses in Technology (Engineering) programme or BIS Degree Programme the stdudents need to meet certain english language requirements. If you have passed Genaral English of GCE(A/L) examination you will be exempted from these requirements. Alternatively you can sit the English Grading Test and get exemptions from the English Language courses depending upon the results.
Those who do not meet entry requirement could first register for Foundation Programme of Study for Technology. The Foundation Programme is a separate programme from the main Programme of Study in Technology (Engineering).
