Broad Aims:

1. To acquire the mathematical skills required for a degree in engineering technology.

2. To be able to apply the acquired mathematical skills in solving engineering problems and in research work.

MPZ1310 eligible or credit pass in Mathematics G.C.E(O/L)

Dynamics

Linear motion, different curves of motion, motion in plane, relative motion, shortest distance, motion of a projectile, circular motion Newton’s laws of motion, work, power and energy, types of energy, conservative forces, motion under impulse, linear momentum, direct collisions, Newton’s law of restitution, simple harmonic motion, applications.

Circular Motion
