Diploma in Industrial Studies

Objective:

This programme is designed to provide an opportunity to those engaged in the middle level technical and management grades in the relevant industry to gain an in-depth knowledge on the subject of specialization so as to enhance their career prospects.

Entry Qualification:

Thirty six credits from the Certificate / Foundation level courses of the Open University. Students who have passed two subjects in the GCE (A/L) in any stream are eligible to enter for the Diploma in Industrial Studies programme.

Duration:

The minimum duration of the Diploma programme is two years.

Rs. 368/= per credit (for the year 2011/2012) 

Award:

The Open University awards the Diploma in Industrial Studies to students who have acquired ninety (90) credits satisfying the requirements given in the table below.
