The Faculty of Engineering Technology offers a variety of study programmes leading to the awards of Certificates, Advanced Certificates, Higher Diplomas, Honours Bachelor’s Degrees, and Postgraduate Diplomas and Degrees, encompassing many engineering and industrial specializations in line with the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF). Major Honours degrees awarded by the Faculty include the Bachelor of Science Honours in Engineering, the Bachelor of Industrial Studies Honours, and the Bachelor of Software Engineering Honours. Our engineering degree programmes are recognised by the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL), supporting graduates’ progression along nationally and internationally benchmarked professional pathways. In addition to the taught study programmes, the Faculty—through its well-equipped academic departments—facilitates research leading to the awards of MPhil and PhD degrees.
