Bachelor of Computer Engineering is a four (04) year degree programme specializing in Computer Engineering. This degree programme is accredited by Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) allowing the students to obtain the membership of this prestigious Institute.
The courses offered for Computer Engineering integrate both software and hardware aspects of computing. Graduates can work in the fields of Embedded systems, Computer Hardware Design, Computer Networking or Software Development.
In this DTP course teach students how to manipulate photographs and other images, create design layouts, and use a variety of desktop publishing programs. Also to learn the elements and principles behind creating effective visual communications such as a stationary system, poster, and brochure etc.
This programme is being conducted in all three media ( English, Sinhala and Tamil). The duration of the programme is one year.
This is an action packed four- month course for the undergraduates of the OUSL to strengthen the process of Social Harmony in Sri Lanka. Those who enroll in the course will acquire the theoretical knowledge of Social Harmony and find opportunities to interact with students of different ethnic communities by way of family visits/ analyzing Art works, and performance of Multicultural Interactive Session (MIS) in the Regional Centers. The cost for the MIS will be borne by the Higher Education for Twenty-First Century Project (HETC) supported by the World Bank.
The Commonwealth Executive MBA and MPA are two of the well-established Master's Degree programmes offered by the Department of Management Studies of the OUSL in partnership with the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) in Vancouver, Canada.
