Engineering managers are responsible for supervising workers who design and develop machinery, products, systems, and processes and directing and coordinating production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants. The Master of Industrial Engineering program further develops the skills and talents who successfully completed the diploma program by following further courses in Engineering and industrial Management and undertaking an industrial research project. The curriculum provides a systematic perspective how your work impacts the functions of an entire organization. The research project is a major course having 18 credit rating and the engineers are expected to apply the theory in all learnt courses in handling a research project and learn to employ the principles of scientific research.
This programme consists of seven (07) courses. Six (6) compulsory courses and one course to be selected out of four optional courses.
