Certificate Course in Environmental Studies
This certificate programme is of one academic year (minimum) duration and offered at level 2. This programme was launched for the first time in 2002.
The basic objective of this programme is
- To provide basic knowledge to the interested personnel on Environment in general and other related issues.
- To improve the skills of students in holistic appraisal of environmental issues.
- To enable the students to develop skills in identifying the causes of Environmental degradation.
- To develop enthusiasm and improve knowledge among personnel in conserving natural resources, environmental management programmes, planning projects, financial management, implementation and extension.
Admission Requirements
G.C.E. (O/L) with a credit pass in English Work experience in environment related aspects will be an added advantage to follow the course.
