Welcome to the OUSL’s Faculty of Natural Sciences website! It gives a glimpse into the Faculty programmes and people.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences has over 30 years experience in delivering quality distance education programmes in varying disciplines of science. Look through our web pages and see the wide range of courses and programmes that one can study as part of a qualification or on a stand-alone basis, for professional development or for personal interest. They are designed for working professionals as well as for school leavers who desire to obtain up-to-date knowledge, skills, and insights in science disciplines.

Our Faculty is committed to enhance scientific knowledge and discipline based skills, whilst providing broad knowledge on areas outside the subject combinations in science. We also use a variety of teaching methods to develop computing skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to work in groups. The committed team of highly qualified staff and other systems in place provide excellent guidance and support to our learners.

Over the years the Faculty has produced a large number of graduates and other award holders capable of contributing effectively and efficiently to the economic and social development of the country.
